Paul Collins

Paul was born and raised in Westchester County, New York. He attended the State University of New York at Albany and studied Economics. He became fluent in Mandarin during three years studying at Fudan University in Shanghai and Taiwan Normal University in Taipei. While practicing law in Arizona he met Chinese actress and producer Luo Yan. That meeting lead to his first screenwriting assignment, an adaptation of the Pearl S. Buck novel Pavilion of Women.

Roy K. Chin

Taiwanese Filmmaker Roy Chin directed 5 Feature Films and just finished a 30 Episodes TV series "Legend of Heroes" featuring Fang Bingbing. Graduated from the Motion Pictures department of the "Taiwan World News Academy" and the San Francisco Art Institute, he also directed several commercials.

Jeffery Chu

Born and raised in Taiwan, Jeffrey Chu emigrated to the States in 1993. He graduated from San Francisco State University where he majored in Cinema Study. He collaborated on a variety of film projects with production house Hotbed Media, including a documentary feature, 'Confessions of a Burning Man'. His narrative debut, 'Happily, Even After', premiered at Tribeca Festival and starred Jason Behr (The Grudge), Marina Black (Six Feet Under) and Jorge Garcia (Lost). In 2004, Jeffrey moved to New York City and shot a season of life-style TV show, 'Jo Jo New York' and one feature documentary, 'Pipe Dream' and two features, 'Bonnie Situation' and 'Chloroform Kid'.

Jim Boettcher

Jim Boettcher is a founding partner of Focus Ventures, one of the world leading venture capital firms. He has led successful investments in US and overseas. In addition to his investment work, Jim spearheads Focus's efforts in Asia, to which he brings to bear his 30 years investment experience in this region. Outside of Focus, as an actively investment expert in Asia, Jim has successful investments in China entertainment and New Media industry, including Ifensi, MOGO and Milk & Fashion. Jim holds an MA/MBA degree from Stanford University and had successfully invested and produced movies in US. He loves China and is accomplished in Chinese history, language and culture. Now he is bringing his intensive experience, creative spirit and capital to China to lead the new trends.

John Zhang

John Zhang, is the founder and Managing Director of the financial consultancy, JC Global Capital Partners LLC. For several years, John worked for the US merchant bank, Firstrust, as director of their Chinese operation. He was instrumental in helping four Chinese companies to obtain listings in US stock markets, and has successfully assisted a number of other Chinese companies in obtaining funding in foreign capital markets. John is passionate about movies and has considerable experience of film financing for US-China joint venture projects. His work in this sector includes participation in the negotiation and implementation of the critically acclaimed film production, The White Countess (2005). John has an MBA from the Goizueta Business School of Emory University.

Brad Armstrong

Brad Armstrong has spent more than 20 years in China. He also worked in Korea and Japan. He is fluent in Chinese and Japanese and speaks basic Korean. Brad works in the venture capital space. He is a graduate of Columbia University and a huge movie fan.
